  • Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) received a USD$1.03bn task order from the US Department of Homeland Security, under which the company will improve the cybersecurity capabilities across six federal agencies. This is the largest task order in Booz Allen Hamilton’s history, and the company traded 0.88% higher to $50.30 today. Booz Allen Hamilton is rated as “Neutral” in both our US Large-Cap and US Information Technology Global Top Picks.
  • Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) has reached an agreement with the Canaveral Port Authority on the development of a new terminal that will be able to accommodate the company’s 180,000-ton ship, liquefied natural gas-powered ship, which is expected to be launched in 2020. Shares of Carnival rose 1.15% to $61.45 today. Carnival Cruise Line is rated “Neutral” in our US Large-Cap model and as “Attractive” in our US Consumer Discretionary Global Top Picks.
  • Morgan Stanley (MS) has become the second firm to halt its coverage of Tesla (TSLA), following Goldman Sachs’ lead. Comments by Tesla CEO Elon Musk regarding the potential of taking the company private have lead to confusion and concern, causing the two firms to suspend analyst coverage of the company. Tesla stock traded 4.36% higher to $321.90 today.   • NVIDIA (NVDA) traded 2.21% higher to $253.32 today, over optimism about the company’s newly introduced GeForce RTX graphics cards geared towards the gaming market. Goldman Sachs sees the launch of the new product line as providing a “strong upgrade cycle in the gaming business”.
