  • Diebold Nixdorf (DBD) saw its credit rating lowered by S&P following lenders’ approval of plans for a US$650mn rescue loan, the stock fell 5.21% to US$4.55.  S&P lowered the rating to B- from B.  Diebold Nixdorf is rated ‘Neutral’ in our US SMID-Cap Global Top Picks and ‘Attractive’ in our US Information Technology Global Top Picks
  • Signet Jewelers (SIG) rose 23.8% to US$68.67 in today’s trading after a big surprise beat in sales growth.  While the market was expecting a 4.2% drop in sales Signet delivered 1.7% growth in total same store sales.  Signet is not rated in Global Top Picks.
  • Stryker (SYK) fell 2.25% to US$169.02 on market reaction to its acquisition of K2M at a 26% premium.  Analysts, however, have been supportive of the deal generally reaffirming the positive outlook for the shares. Stryker is rated ‘Attractive’ in our US Large-Cap Global top Picks
