Japanese Market

  • Japanese stocks finished their trading session in the red, the sixth straight day of losses, following an earthquake on the island of Hokkaido while export sensitive stocks dropped on continued worries about escalating trade tensions between the US and China 
  • The Nikkei 225 finished down 0.41% and the Topix closed down 0.74%
  • Investor sentiment for Japanese stocks finished negative with the advance/decline ratio for the Nikkei 225 closing at 0.28x
