  • AMD (AMD) saw its price target almost doubled at Stifel, where it was hiked to $38 from $21 today citing its “stellar performance of executing to plan”.  Expectations for 2019 were increased as it is expected AMD will continue to gain market share from Intel (INTC) which is experiencing problems meeting demand.  AMD is falling 1.2% at $30.81.  AMD is rated ‘Unattractive’ in our US Large-Cap Global Top Picks and ‘Top Short’ in our US Information Technology Global Top Picks.  Intel is rated ‘Neutral’’ in our US Large-Cap Global Top Picks and ‘Top Buy’ in our US Information Technology Global Top Picks

  • Stitchfix (SFIX) is trading 12.4% at $41.27 after CNBC reported that Amazon (AMZN) is testing a service called Scout that allows customers to refine their clothing selection with visual clues.  This is reported to be very similar to Stichfix’s service and the reason for the stock’s weakness.  Stichfix is rated ‘Top Short’ in our US Large-Cap Global Top Picks.  Amazon is rated ‘Attractive’ in our US Large-Cap Global Top Picks and ‘Top Buy’ in our US Consumer Discretionary Global Top Picks
