  • Deutsche Bank (DBK GR) is open to a merger after it raises its profitability over the next 18 months, according to its CEO.  The comments were in response to recent press reports that the German government would be happy to see Deutsche and Commerzbank (CBK GR) merge.  Deutsche closed 0.31% lower at 10.32 euros, Commerzbank closed 1.6% higher at 9.55 euros.  Deutsche and Commerzbank are both rated ‘Unattractive’ in our European Large-Cap Global Top Picks
