US Market Snapshot

US equity markets are mixed today leading into President Trump's decision on the Iran Deal. Small-cap stocks are outperforming large-caps, with The S&P 500 (-0.30%), Russell 2000 (+0.03%), and the Nasdaq Composite (-0.26%).

The S&P 500 is being led lower today by Utilities (-1.78%), Real Estate (-0.92%), and Health Care (-0.70%), while Financials (+0.66%), Industrials (+0.28%), and Telecom (+0.01%) are the biggest outperforming sectors.

Apple Inc (AAPL) reportedly may repurchase between 4%-8% of its entire share volume per quarter for the next four to six quarters.

Camping World (CWH) reported 1Q2018 EPS that was relatively in-line with expectations ($0.41 vs $0.40 estimated).

Discovery Inc (DISC.A) announced 1Q2018 EPS that was significantly below consensus ($0.16 vs $0.40 projected).

Expeditor International (EXPD) posted 1Q2018 EPS that was firmly above expectations ($0.76 vs $0.65 estimated).

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) has signed a 7-year agreement with Cardlytics Inc., which entails JPMorgan providing customers’ purchasing habits, while Cardlytics offers coupons and discounts on JPMorgan’s mobile-banking app.

Microchip Technology (MCHP) adjusted its forecasted range for 1Q2018 EPS, with a midpoint that matched estimates ($1.39 -$1.49, vs $1.44 consensus).
