US Markets End of Day Snapshot

US stocks ended mixed today, with small-cap stocks outperforming large-caps. The S&P 500 (-0.08%) and the Nasdaq Composite (-0.21%) both ended lower, while the Russell 2000 (+0.55%) moved higher. 

The S&P 500 was led lower today by Utilities (-0.81%), Real Estate (-0.52%), and Technology (-0.52%), while Energy (+1.51%), Industrials (+0.39%), and Consumer Staples (+0.34%) were the biggest outperforming sectors.
