  • Bitwage, a cryptocurrency payroll service, created an advisory firm that will help companies launch ICOs called Inwage. Inwage will help create and audit smart contracts and provide security for the website
  • Currencies Direct, an UK foreign exchange brokerage, successfully completed money transfers with Ripple’s xRapid product. xRapid was created to make money transfers quicker and cheaper using Ripple’s blockchain technology
  • John McAfee, the founder of McAfee Antivirus, announced that he will be launching a new fiat currency called the McAfee coin. These coins will be available in 26 days according to tweet sent by McAfee
  • Ethereum Classic is expected to undergo a hard fork today, in an attempt to diffuse a ‘bomb’ in its code, and allow ETC mining to remain profitable
  • Major cryptocurrencies held their gains from our earlier update, and remain significantly higher for the day
