US stocks declined today, with the S&P 500 -0.07%, Russell 2000 -0.49%, and Nasdaq Composite -0.70%. The S&P 500 was led lower today by Technology (-0.93%), Materials (-0.51%), and Telecom (-0.36%), while Energy (+1.52%), Utilities (+0.70%), and Consumer Staples (+0.56%) were the biggest outperforming sectors. The VIX is up 49 basis points, or 4.21%, to 12.13. The most actively traded options in US markets today are MDXG January 18 OTM Puts, SPY June 8 OTM Puts, and QQQ June 15 OTM Calls. The US 10-year yield is falling today, down 5.2 basis points to 2.922%.
