How Did European Stocks Close?

European stocks ended higher today, bouncing back from yesterday’s losses, with the Euro Stoxx 600 +0.81%, the FTSE 100 +0.60%, the DAX +0.91%, and the CAC40 +0.76%. Periphery markets were mixed, with Italy’s MIB +1.57% and Spain’s IBEX +1.07% higher, while Greece’s ASE -0.31% and Portugal’s PSI 20 -0.01% fell. The VSTOXX ended down 160 basis points, or -8.92%, to 16.39. Yield on the UK 10 year fell 1.6 basis points to 1.241%, while the yield on the Italian 10-year fell 1.2 basis points to 2.638%.
