Information technology (+1.60%), industrials (+1.17%), and health care stocks (+0.78%) are leading the S&P 500 higher today, while utilities (-0.29%), consumer staples (+0.11%), and energy (+0.11%) weighing the S&P 500 down. The VIX is down 89 basis points, or 6.53%, to 12.74. Yield on the US 10-year is up 0.5 basis points to 2.855%. The DXY dollar index is up 0.01%, with weakness in the JPY¥ (-0.34%), while the AUD$ +0.62%, the EUR€ +0.08%, and the GBP£ (+0.08%) have appreciated. The most actively traded options today are SPY July 13 Puts, PAGS November 16 Calls, HYG August 17 Puts, and XLF July 13 Puts.
