European stocks finished broadly higher with the Euro Stoxx 60 +0.78%, the FTSE 100 +0.78%, the DAX +0.16%, and the CAC 40 +0.97%. Periphery markets were mostly higher as well with Spain’s IBEX +0.35%, Italy’s FTSE MIB +0.38%, and Greece’s ASE Athens SE +0.76%. The VSTOXX is down 113 basis points, or 7.79%, to 13.46. Italian bonds are higher today, with the yield on Italy’s 10-year down 6.6 basis points to 2.616%. Yield on the German Bund has fallen 1.1 basis points to 0.353%. European currencies are mixed against the USD$, with the EUR€ +0.09%, the GBP£ +0.14%, while the SEK is -0.36% and the CHF is -0.54%.
