How Did European Stocks Close?

European stocks broadly declined with the Euro Stoxx 600 -0.19%, the FTSE 100 -0.30%, the DAX -0.10%, and the CAC 40 -0.37%. Periphery markets were mixed with Spain’s IBEX +0.01%, Italy’s FTSE MIB -0.87%, Portugal’s PSI 20 +0.58%, and Greece’s ASE -0.38%. Yield on the German Bund rose 3.5 basis points to 0.403%, while the yield on Italy’s 10-year increased 5.1 basis points to 2.632%. The VSTOXX advanced 41 basis points to 14.19. European currencies are mostly weaker, with EUR€ (_0.18%), the GBP£ (-0.23%), and the CHF (-0.03%).
